All I Need for Christmas - Finding Gratitude In The Festive Season

From November, every time I go to the supermarket Wham's "Last Christmas" is playing. "Do they have it on repeat?" I think to myself.
With work wrapping up, end-of-year parties, and the expectations of Christmas, the festive season is sometimes far from merry.
Sometimes...all I want for Christmas is true rest.

I was someone who was not grateful for what I received.
The beautiful sunrise or the blue colour of the sea - the world gives me so much.
In the past, I had many judgments and negative thoughts on Christmas Day. While my negativity hasn't completely gone away, meditation has greatly helped me find joy at this time.
I realised my family members can also find the day stressful.

Emptying the mind brings peace.
True rest exists within the heart.
You can find it within.
