The Stonecutter's Secret

Once upon a time, there lived a poor stonecutter. He worked hard every day, but he often felt small and sad.

One day, he saw a rich man. "Wow, he is so powerful! I want to be a rich man," he wished. Suddenly, his wish came true! He became very wealthy.

But then, he saw a king. "The king is stronger than me," he thought. He became a powerful king, wearing a golden crown.

Under the hot sun, even the king felt tired. "The sun is the strongest!" he cried. He became the glowing sun, shining brightly in the sky.

But then, a dark cloud came and covered his light. "I want to be a cloud!" he shouted. As a cloud, he felt big and heavy.

Then, a strong wind started to blow. It pushed the cloud away easily. "The wind is the master!" he thought. He became the fast and wild wind.

Although the wind blew and blew, it could not move a giant mountain. "The mountain is the toughest of all!" So, he became a tall, rocky mountain. He felt like he would last forever.

But suddenly, he heard a sound. Clink! Clink! Clink!

Someone was cutting into his rocky skin. It was a little stonecutter with a small hammer.

"Don't look for power far away. You are already strong with what you have."
